The CiderSure 6500 is the newest and largest UV processor that FPE makes. Under optimal conditions, it will process 600 GPH of minimally filtered cider. A couple of things set the 6500 apart from the other CiderSure processors. Firstly, it operates at 220V for optimal efficiency. Secondly, it runs twin process tubes either in parallel or singly, allowing for a wide range of output. This is also a larger machine, weighing around 450 lbs. with a 24 in. x 36 in. footprint.
Yet, like the rest of the CiderSure UV Processor family, the 6500 is very easy to run. You simply hook up the inflow and outflow hoses to the machine and turn the unit on. The machine will run until your juice holding tank is emptied, then turn itself off. Once the run has completed, you disconnect your hoses, attach two short pieces of hose to your inflow and outflow and drop the other ends into a bucket of cleaning/sanitizing solution. Then you put the machine into wash mode and start the wash cycle.
