The siphon filler gives you an economical way of filling cider jugs. It will keep one person busy removing full jugs and putting empty ones in their place. Handles pints, quarts, half-gallons, gallons. One person can fill 4 to 15 containers per minute depending upon the size of the container and the operator ability. Note that the unit must be gravity fed. A float valve maintains the liquid level in the reservoir.

Note: This unit ships with four (4) ¾″ fill spouts and will accommodate a maximum of five (5) ¾″ spouts for filling of gallon and half-gallon jugs. For filling quart size containers, the manufacturer specifies a 5⁄8″ fill spout. For filling pint containers of at least five (5) inches in height, the manufacturer specifies a 3⁄8″ spout. Pint containers shorter than five (5) in. require use of a "miniature" fill spout.

The 3⁄8 in., ½″ and ¾″ spouts all share the same gooseneck and saddle assembly. They differ in the fill spout parts. We do not recommend trying to convert mounted goosenecks by interchanging fill spouts as this causes wear and tear on threads, seals and fill spouts. If you intend to fill everything from pints to gallons (pints, quarts, half-gallons and gallons), we recommend that you purchase a complete set of filler assemblies for the pint bottles (max. number = 8) and order your siphon filler with 5⁄8″ spouts for filling your quart, half-gallon and gallon jugs. If you intend to fill only half-gallon and gallon jugs, order your filler unit with the standard ¾″ spout.
